Introducing Wisdom Audio
Based in Carson City, Nevada, Wisdom Audio was founded in 1996 with one goal in mind, to create the world's finest
loudspeakers unbound by limitations of current technologies and past design. Wisdom's pioneering use of large scale thin film planar-magnetic transducers, electronic crossovers in place of passive designs, and innovative woofer designs were all developed to solve problems inherent in the limitations of traditional designs and how they interact with the listening room. The result is an experience like no other.
The latest groundbreaking achievements from Wisdom are represented by the Sage Series that addresses the growing
demand for high performance loudspeaker systems that can be integrated into a home to address contemporary
entertainment lifestyles. Each Sage model provides the performance of an exotic audiophile loudspeaker while
respecting architectural integrity and providing a pleasing visual aesthetic. This series offers unprecedented flexibility to address a range of installation options while exceeding the highest performance levels available among typical
architectural designs.
All Sage Series systems are active, utilising Wisdom Audio’s amplifiers or those of your choosing. The 7.3 channel SC-1 System Controller is the heart of the system. It provides the active crossover between bass and midrange/treble, system-specific EQ, as well as Audyssey MultEQ® XT room correction on all 17 output channels for consistent nocompromise performance in every installation. The SC-1 can also provide for flexible multi zone setups – a 5.1 channel system in the living room and a second 2.1 channel system in the master bedroom, even three separate 2.1 channel systems all controlled, equalized and calibrated from a single SC-1.
The Sage Series In-Wall model pricing starts from the P20i at $4,000 per piece and extends to the flagship L150i at
$23,000 per piece. The SC-1 System Controller required for all systems retails for $9,000 whilst Wisdom Audio
amplifiers start from $6,000.
